Delete Your Account & Data

This page outlines the process for users who wish to permanently request the deletion of their Hunt Legacy account and all associated personal data.

How to Request Deletion

To initiate the deletion of your account and data, please send an email to our support team at support@huntlegacy.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".

Please ensure you send this request from the email address associated with your Hunt Legacy account, or explicitly include your account email address in the body of the message to verify your identity.

What Gets Deleted

Upon processing your request, we will permanently remove the following information from our active databases:

Account Information: Name, email address, avatar, and authentication data.
Journal Entries: All hunt logs, field notes, harvest dates, and logged species.
Location Data: GPS coordinates, saved stands, properties, and map pins.
Media: Any photos or images uploaded to your journal.
Analytics: All historical analytics, time distributions, and success metrics.
Subscription Info: Billing associations and active Pro status identifiers.

Note regarding Subscriptions: If you have an active Hunt Legacy PRO subscription via Stripe, it will be automatically canceled upon account deletion to prevent any future charges.

Processing Timeline

Data deletion requests are processed manually for security and verification purposes. Please allow up to 30 days for your request to be fully completed and for your data to be purged from our active systems and backups.
